I use microsoft word and keep getting ask to put in 25 character
product key, whaere and what is it?

If this is a retail version, it should be on a yellow or orange sticker
somewhere in/on the package. If it's an OEM version, the vendor should have
supplied it somewhere (preferably on the envelope containing the media the
vendor should be required to supply).
