I keep hitting some combination of keys while I'm typing that reverses the
functions of capitalization. What am I doing? When it happens, how do I turn off whatever it is I've done? Thanks. |

It's probably either accidentally hitting the Caps Lock button, or turning
on StickyKeys. For StickyKeys, go to StartHelp and look up StickyKeys. HTH Ed "malissamartinwilke" wrote in message ... If it reverses, you've pressed the CapsLock key. If it were capitalizing
*everything* (upper and lower case), it would be All Caps (Ctrl+Shift+A). -- Suzanne S. You're probably hitting the Caps Lock key by accident - just press it again
to turn it Off. When it is On there is a light that glows on your keyboard to indicate it, normally right above the Numeric Keypad. You just have to be more careful with your typing. -- HTH |:) Bob Jones [MVP] Office:Mac "malissamartinwilke" wrote in message ... See if the "All Caps" checkbox is checked in the paragraph style
that's affected. (Is there a keyboard shortcut for that? Or maybe someone at some point assigned one to that command.) Sounds like "All caps" font formatting. To turn it off, try selecting the
text and pressing Ctrl+SpaceBar. If that doesn't help, you'll have to modify the underlying paragraph style. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "normDallas" wrote in message ... The keyboard shortcut is Ctrl+Shift+A, easy enough to press by mistake.
