I need to send tracking numbers to 100 different email addresses. I created
a Merge doc and have my email addresses and tracking numbers in an Excel spreadsheet. How can I create the merge and send so that each email address gets only their own tracking number? I've never tried anything like this before. So I am sure I need to set this up in a special way. Please help. |

If there is only one tracking number for each email address, it is simply a
matter of setting up a letter type mail merge document that contains the mergefield for the tracking number with what ever other text that you want to appear in the message and then executing that merge to email. On selecting that option, a dialog box will appear via which you can select the field in the data source that contains the email addresses and enter a (common) subject line for the messages. It there are multiple tracking number for each email address (or some of the email addresses) and you only want to send one message to each address, See the following page of fellow MVP Graham Mayors website: http://www.gmayor.com/ManyToOne.htm -- Hope this helps.
