Default How can you reapply a template to a document

We have engineers who use old word docs and create new reports. The old
template formatting etc gets lost. Is there a way to reapply a template to an
existing document?

Default How can you reapply a template to a document

Not in the way you envisage. Train the engineers to create new documents
from the templates.
