Hi Everyone this is my first post , great to be here .
I am trying to create frame/mount for printing out A4 paper landscape . I am using word 2000 ! I know very old ! I have been playing with text boxes and create a big one inside the layout that is the size I want and then colour it in with say a ivory/crème colour to replicate a mount. What I want is the ability to be exact (ie) I want a equal 3cm border /mount/frame around my A4 landscape paper so when printed out the paper looks like it has a 3cm mount around it .I can do this after much trial and error but cant seem to get the exact measurement (ie) 3 cm. Under format text box it wont let me create the exact size (equal border around paper but jumps in measurements. I have been tediously adjusting and then printing and measuring with a ruler . Still cant get equal 3 cm mount !!! Any advice guys Much appreciated Bob |
