Hi there,
I am trying a fairly simple formatting of a TOC by marking page headers with the style Heading1. This style works great for any text in the body of the document but any text marked in my page headers will not show up in the TOC. The field codes are as below (but I assume they are not the problem since the same style works in the body but not page header. I don't see any restrictions mentioned any where about page headers - am I missing something here? Thanks TOC \o "1-3" \h \z \u |

Um, you can't put ToC commands in headers?
Try putting the heading you want into the text, and if you don't want it showing in the text, color the font White; if it's taking up space you don't have, then make it 1 pt. type (try 0.5 pt., too). The ToC machine doesn't pick up character traits, I don't think, but if it does, you can select the ToC entry and reset the color/size.
