Default Word's SpellCheck options divided in 2 menus

Ever had SpellCheck refuse to work? You go to ToolsOptionsSpelling &
Grammar and all the settings there seem fine. It turns out there is a check
box in ToolsLanguageSet Language that says "Do Not check spelling and
grammar". If this is accidentally uncehcked (maybe you picked up the setting
from another document), then SpellCheck will not work.

Solution: move the checkbox to the obvious location - the Spelling & Grammar
tab - so users don't go crazy trying to figure out how to fix SpellCheck.

The thing is, the spelling and grammar tab is used for setting system-wide
or document-wide options. The "do not check spelling or grammar" is a
text-specific setting, like bold or underline.

You may be right, it doesn't belong with choice of language either, but that
choice is also a text-specific setting.

My thought is that this setting, regardless of where it is shown, will
continue to drive users crazy until they learn that it is specific to
selected text. The only way I know of to really learn that is to bump your
head into it a couple of times.
