Default in print view I can not get a blank page. Iget graph paper

I am unable to get a blank page when using the print view. i get graph paper.
I have erased office and reloaded it but nothing will make the graph paper go
away. It is not a background. It is not a template. What to do?

Display the Drawing toolbar. Click the Draw button at the left end of the
toolbar, select Grid, and uncheck the option "Display gridlines on screen".
