I have just converted for Word 97 to the 60 day trial of Office 2003. Now I
cannot access my word files at all. I have manuscripts pending. What do I do
to convert Word 97 to Office 2003?

If you're using Norton AntiVirus and you get a "file not
available" error message when you try to open a Word 97 file in
Word 2003, then try disabling the Office Plugin that comes with
Norton AntiVirus. See http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=329820

If you aren't going to buy Office 2003, you might want to start uninstalling
the trial version now. Invariably it will end 12 hours before you need it
most. (Seen it waaaaaaaaay to often.)
