Default table of contents

Hi,

I have made a table of contents. I can't get the page numbers to line up.
It looks like a snake going down the page. I tried to do it by using the
margins but I still can't get it to line up. Is there a easier way to do
this. Thanks in advance.

The ToCs are styles, a separate style for each level of ToC. You need to
check out the style format for inconsistencies. Each ToC should have a right
aligned tab so that the page numbers align to the right margin (though this
can be changed). Select each level of ToC and see the alignment in the
Ruler. You may simply be able to realign using the ruler and edit the Style
using the Update to current setting option.

If you have made the TOC using Insert | Reference | Index and Tables: Table
of Contents, you should not be having this problem (if you are, see Terry's
post). If not, see http://www.ShaunaKelly.com/word/toc/CreateATOC.html
