Default File locations for downloaded templates?

Using MS Office 2003 Student and Teacher Edition.
Where do I save downloaded templates to so they will display in Word 2003
when I click file, new, templates, on my computer, other documents? I have
downloaded templates but to use them I have to go to C:\Program files\MS
Office\Templates then the specific template.
When I had Office 97 I didn't have this problem.

In Word, click on Tools | Options | File Locations, and note the
folder designated for User Templates. The default folder is
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application
Data\Microsoft\Templates, but yours may be different. The User
Templates folder is where you want to save your downloaded
templates.
