Default formatting

In in our office most are using Word 2003 and when you send an attachment
through our network it automatically opens in reading viewer, with a two page
on one screen view. Is this a setting in word that can be changed or is it
something that needs to be changed in Outlook? If so, how do I change this?

On the receiving machine, go to Tools Options General and clear the
checkbox for "Allow starting in Reading Layout". There's nothing you can do
about it from the sending end.

It's a setting in Word: Tools | Options | General: Allow starting in Reading
Layout.
