Default how to get my coputer to read documents

Right click on the document in Windows Explorer and select 'Open with...'
Select WordPad from the list of programs
If you want it to always open .docs with WordPad, tick the box that says
something like 'Always use selected program to open these files'

Hope that helps

Lucy

Double-click them. Or start WordPad and use FileOpen ...

If WordPad doesn't open the document, you have the wrong version of WordPad.

Earlier versions of WordPad can't open the latest Word files.
