hi back again how do i make a text doc compatilble so i can make changes to
it..the answers i got yesterday i don't understand .i have lexmark 5400 i
scan the doc and save it to clipboard or file,when i open office up and pull
doc its there but can't make changes i have full versionoffice 2007
pro.please help this dummy

As I explained yesterday, you need to read the documentation that came with
your scanner. Scanning it in and saving it to your the sclipboard will never
work and depending on how you scan it in as a file may not work. You need to
find out how to use the OCR (optical character recognition) software that
came with your scanner. That's what tells your scanner *not* to scan it in
as a picture but to scan it in as text.
