Can saved autocorrect settings be moved to a new computer?
Over the course of 2 years I have misspelled every word imaginable. My
autocorrect settings on my work computer have got me figured out perfectly. Can I somehow get that cross-reference table into my Laptop? Is it as simple as copying my custom dictionary file over (custom.dic) to the appropriate directory on my Laptop? Jacob |

Can saved autocorrect settings be moved to a new computer?

autocorrect. See http://addbalance.com/word/movetotemplate.htm for step-by-step instructions on moving / sharing / copying / backing-up customizations including AutoText, AutoCorrect, keyboard assignments, toolbars, macros, etc. -- Charles Kenyon Word New User FAQ & Web Directory: http://addbalance.com/word Intermediate User's Guide to Microsoft Word (supplemented version of Microsoft's Legal Users' Guide) http://addbalance.com/usersguide See also the MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/ which is awesome!
