changine heading style for an appendix
You don't say how you're trying to accomplish this, but I believe you will
need to create a separate set of heading styles for the appendices and set up the numbering accordingly for each. -- Colleen "pat" wrote: I am writing a document with numbered headings. I also have an appendix for which I want to use lettered headings, Appedndix A, A.1, A.2 etc. When I try to create a new format for the appendix it changes all of the headings in the rest of the document to letters. can anyone help? many thanks Phil |
