Default the instruction to change to word as email editor does not work.

I followed the instructions to change my default editor to word which should
be the case to begin with as I am using Outlook 2003. This was the case for a
few days after upgrading.

Whenever I follow the procedure to change to word as the default editor,
this is greyed out and i am unable to enjoy the benefits of word as my
default editor.

please help

Hi Andrew,

Is the version of Word you are using also the 2003 version?

Is Outlook 2003 your default email program?
What steps are you following where you're seeing this greyed out?
