Feature different in Word 2007 Standard and Word 2007 Home and Stu
Are their got you's involved in choosing the Home and Student edition?

Feature different in Word 2007 Standard and Word 2007 Home andStu
The programs are the same, but with Home & Student you are not allowed
to use them for any "commercial purposes." I suppose that means that if you're ever going to write anything for pay, or to be published, you can't use H&S. That's why the reduced price.
