Default How do I stop Word completing dates with AutoComplete on?

I want to leave AutoComplete on but do not want dates auto completed. eg 2005
is autocompleted to 2005-09-16. I don't want this to happen. Thanks for your
help.

This is one of those bugs that drive everybody crazy. The only known
workaround is to press ESC, space, or tab before pressing Enter.
