In Word I can cut or copy text, but then I can't paste it. Why?
For some reason Word will not allow me to paste text that I have copied or
cut elsewhere in the same document. |

What version of Word, what version of Windows, & *how* are you trying to
execute the Paste command? There are at least 4 ways to paste; 1- EditPaste 2- Ctrl+v 3- Paste Button (Standard Toolbar) 4- Right-Click, choose Paste from the 'shortcut' menu Which ones have you tried & what happens when you attempt it? Can you cut/copy from Word & paste to another type of file (Excel worksheet, Powerpoint, Notepad, etc)?
