When Word checks spelling, it has to know the language of the text it is
checking. You set the language for any text either explicitly through Tools Language, or as part of the style definition. One of the "languages" is 'do not check spelling or grammar' -- it's useful if the text is matter that Word can't check anyway, like lists of part numbers, Pitjantjatjara poetry, etc. The message is telling you that you have some text so marked in your document. You can use Find to locate it. "johnsweet" wrote in message ... What does this mean after I have run Spell Check? 'Text marked with "Do not check spelling or grammar" was kipped.' What text was marked and how was it marked? Thanks, John Sweet; |
