Default Didn't save the doc

Hi,

My word froze so I had to close the doc without saving it.
Does word save a temp file somewhere with the last used doc?
I am not sure if I have auto save enable.
If someone can send me the path for that directory it would be great.

Thanks

If AutoRecovery was enabled, there might be one or more *.asd files;
Word displays any such files the next time you start the application.
Also, if "Always create backup copy" was enabled, a *.wbk file exists
on disk (assuming that you saved the document at least once before
Word crashed). See http://word.mvps.org/faqs/general/AutomaticSave.htm
