Default Inserting text from a document into a footer

Is there a way to automatically have text from a document appear in the
footer area? In this document I would like to type a name and address in
the document and then have the name show up in the footer. I imagine this
would use fields but I am not sure how to apply it.
Thanks.

You can do this with a StyleRef field. See
