Check box in Form Fields
Using Word 2003, I added the check box via the Forms menu
(set up form by using tables) but when I click on it, an X does not appear. What am I missing? I've done a few searches on line and have found nothing. thank you! Regina |

To use this kind of checkbox, you would normally protect the document for
forms. There are a number of ways to create and use clickable checkboxes in documents / templates. Some require protected or locked forms, others do not. Take a look at the Checkbox template available at http://www.addbalance.com/word/downl...#CheckboxAddIn for an exploration of these. What you are talking about is what Word calls an "online form." Check this in help. Charles:
Thank you for your very quick response! All I needed to to was to Protect the document for the check box to actually work - thank you, it works beautifully!!
