And it will show up on my print out. How do I get rid of the line? Speedy answers will be really appreciated. |

Is the header line in all new documents you create? In that case, you need to
remove it from your Normal.dot file. It is probably a border. Go to Format | Borders and Shading and choose None
or select No Border on the Borders flyout palette (Borders button on the Formatting toolbar). See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting...tRidOfLine.htm for more. -- Suzanne S. Suzanne,
I interpreted the line as "a line of text"... I am sure you are right. -- Regards Lene Fredborg DocTools - Denmark www.thedoctools.com Document automation - add-ins, macros and templates for Microsoft Word "Suzanne S. Ah, I didn't even think of that possible interpretation (line of text), and
if the OP couldn't figure out how to remove the line in the document, I didn't imagine he/she'd have any better luck in Normal.dot! -- Suzanne S.
