Imported images dissappear in WORD 2003 but place holder visib
The picture placeholder box is checked... What I think is happening is that
the pictures disappear behind the background because when I go to the format box and click "Bring to Front" the pic appears. But, after scrolling it disappears in to the background again and again....... What gives? I want the pic to be visual as I edit the page.... Another question.... I have a number of image editors installed on my computer but Word 2003' does not not iudentify them in the drop down menu under tools... How do I add the program when it provides no option to do so? If you want to be able to see the picture, don't check the box for "Picture
placeholders," which makes Word display an empty box (placeholder) instead of the picture. By choosing "Bring to Front," you are applying text wrapping to the picture so that it is no longer In Line With Text, and picture placeholders apply only to inline graphics. -- Suzanne S.
