Default Error Opening an RTF File

I get an error when trying to open an RTF file with B2TR.

"The file Document.rtf is not available."

Wordpad opens the file no problem.

Hi Woody,

If you have a Symantec-Norton protection product installed open the Miscellaneous tab for those products, turn off the 'Office
Plug-in' choice and then restart the Office 2007 B2TR apps to see if you can open files.

Well, in the meantime I upgraded to Vista RC1 and in the process I had to
completely remove the Norton Antivirus so it sounds like that was the
culprit.

Now running Vista RC1 and Office 2007 B2TR and all is good, except for some
new discoveries of things that have changed in Vista and some things no
longer work. For example, Software help written to use the WinHelp32.exe.
This is no longer supported in Vista and doesn't look like they are going to
add support either. So can't access software help menus until upgrading the
SW when an update becomes available.

Hi Woody,

Interesting. You may want to use the link below to drop by the Help Authoring newsgroup. I'd guess those folks would be one of the
first to know of or create workarounds

What programs are you seeing where that help functionallity is impacted?
