Word 2000 Postal Bar Code
If I set up the page as an envelope, is there a way to insert the postal bar
code? I know Tools/Envelope will create an envelope with the ability to insert the bar code, but I want to use my own formatted envelope as a page setup Thanks -- Barry |

Use Insert Field and choose the Barcode field. Indicate the name of the bookmark that contains the zip code. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org |

I'm having a problem w/ this
First insert a bookmark to cover the address, or at least the zip code part of it; or, if this is a protected form, note the bookmark name of the field that contains the zip code. I highlighted the zip code and inserted bookmark, named it ZipCode and added it. ZipCode is now bracketed Use Insert Field and choose the Barcode field. Indicate the name of the bookmark that contains the zip code. Here I'm confused. I end up with {BARCODE \ ZipCode} but that toggles to Zip code not valid! Where did I go wrong Thanks |

The correct syntax is { BARCODE ZipCode \b }.
