I am using Word 2003. How can I set the alignment of numbers in a Word table?
For example, I want the numbers to line up on the decimal point and show negative numbers in parentheses. i.e. The following should line up correctly on the decimal point: 12.50 (653.87) 18.567 Thanks much in advance. |

You need a decimal-aligned tab stop. For more, see
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/SettingTabs.htm Note that a tab character is not required for decimal tab stops in tables. -- Suzanne S.
