XP home, Office 2007, Windows Live Mail. Trying to email merge and no
messages seem to go out, not in sent file, not received, nothing. I'm not a
computer geek, so instructions need to be simple and explicit. Thanks in
advance for any assistance.

I have never used Windows Live Mail for this purpose, but do not expect
"merge to HTML format mail" to work with anything except (the full)
Outlook. In other words, my next move would be to try merge to plain
text format or merge with attachments.
