Default how to link part of TOC to part of body in document

I am trying to link parts of the TOC into the body of a large document. I
only know about hyperlink, this is not viable as it is for not in the body of
the document. Thank you for helping me.

Default how to link part of TOC to part of body in document

If you use the default settings when creating a TOC in Word 2000 or above,
all the entries will be hyperlinked to the related headings. Even in earlier
versions, or if you choose not to hyperlink the entries, the page numbers
will be hyperlinked.
