I have read all the posts - both relevant and irrelevant: I have absolutely
no experience of macros and neither has anyone else in this office.
I am trying to follow Doug's instructions but only get to set up:
where so I go to write this macro?
Is the macro case sensitive?

Does anyone realise how complicated this is to the uninitiated?
Please don't just tell me to read the link please!

The following should cast some light on the subject
http://www.gmayor.com/installing_macro.htm
Sadly macros are essential to achieve this.

Thanks for that - I am having a complete nightmare with this but I refuse to
let it beat me!
In running the preparations, which programme do use? I have tried on
outlook, but when I go back in to check that the correct box is ticked it
never is, although I only went in there a few minutes before to actually tick
it! Does that make sense?

I guess that you are referring to setting the reference to the Outlook
Object Model by selecting References from the Tools menu in the Visual Basic
Editor. You then need to scroll down through the list until you find
Microsoft Outlook ##.0 Object Library and then check that box against that
Item and then click on OK.

If you are using Office XP, it will be Microsoft Outlook 10.0 and if you are
using Office 2003, it will be Microsoft Outlook 11.0

Once you have checked it, it should stay checked. What is it that you are
doing after checking it?
