My wife is a member of a Windows XP workgroup . She is continually
creating
mail merges and sending the mail onto everyone in the workgroup. She
tried
to send a mail merge recently but was warned that it was unsafe to send the
information. She asked for the mail merge to be sent anyway. All the
recipients received the mail merge but were unable to open the attachment
as
it stated that the files were corrupt. Why did this happen and is there
anyway that she can create the merge to be viewed by the recipients?

Note that uncompressed Word documents are often corrupted by the e-mail
process. Either send them as zip files or convert to PDF for which extra
software will be needed.
