Forms show tracked changes
My office recently upgraded to Office 2003. Many users have complained that
when they open in Word 2003 forms that were created in earlier versions of Word (and protected for forms, not for tracked changes), tracked changes are displayed, seemingly by default. It's almost as if Word 2003 recognizes any protected document as protected for track changes, even if that is not how it was originally protected when created. Users do not want to go back to every form they have ever created and Accept Changes in Word 2003 to make the tracked changes disappear. Any suggestions? Many thanks. |

Apologies for violating protocol. Realized belatedly after submitting first
post that I was replying to the last post dated 1/19/05 on 2/9/05. I thought it would be too late for someone to see to respond; hence, the second post with a new thread line. Won't happen again. It's always better to continue in the same thread. Those of us who are
following the groups with newsreaders will have no trouble seeing the most recent posts, and I think the Web interface is eventually supposed to be adjusted to show the threads with recent activity first. -- Suzanne S.
