Locking Text
Hi,
Could someone tell me how to lock certain areas of text so that do not move or get overtyped when a document is used in word 2007. What is the best way to do this? -- Baggie79 |

Locking Text
Hi Baggie,
The usual way of doing this involves putting section breaks before/after the portions you want to protect, then protecting the document for forms, leaving the other section(s) unprotected. Another way might be to put the 'protected' material into a text box in the header or footer. This has the advantage/disadvantage that the protected text stays put regardless of what's typed in the user area of the page.
