Looking for a character
I am creating a tally sheet for someone. They want those tally hash marks in
fives inserted. The five sticks with the slash. Does this exist somewhere as a symbol, character or whatever?? |

I have never seen them anywhere. I assume however that you mean four
strokes and then a slash. -- Hope this helps. Please reply to the newsgroup unless you wish to avail yourself of my services on a paid consulting basis. You can make one easy enough. Use the pipe character "|" to make the four
verticals and then use the drawing toolbar to draw a slash through them. Select it all and save as an AutoText entry. -- Greg Maxey/Word MVP See: http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/word_tips.htm For some helpful tips using Word. barrbera wrote: I am creating a tally sheet for someone.
