Footnote Cross-Referencing Renumbering Problem
Hi,
I have a lengthy Word 2003 doc with many footnotes. The footnotes automatically renumber when I add or delete footnotes, but the cross-references I have inserted do not renumber (except they magically did once, I don't know why, but refuse to again). Any suggestions? According to Word's help feature, the cross-references should renumber along with the footnote numbers. |

Footnote Cross-Referencing Renumbering Problem
Cross-references update "semi-automatically." They don't update on their own
the way the footnote numbers do, but if you Ctrl+A, Ctrl+F9, they should be updated, and they will also update at print time provided you have "Update fields" checked on the Print tab of Tools | Options. -- Suzanne S.
