Default How do I keep 4-H always together and not skip to next line?

I type 4-H all the time. In documents I would like to set it so it never is
separated onto two lines. Because it has a hyphen the computer wants to
treat it like a hyphenated word. Any instructions or help here?

Instead of a regular hyphen, use a non-breaking hyphen, Ctrl-Shift-
hyphen.
