hi

i have a document in a font which is not one of the standard ones that comes
with word. i downloaded the exotic font (truetype), copied the files into the
fonts folder, and opened the document in word 2007. at first it worked, but
when i opened word again a couple of hours later, the font had disappeared
from the font dropdown menu and the doc was in courier (all the other
standard fonts are still in the menu, just not the new one). i looked at the
page recommended before here, where it is suggested changing printers back
and forth will help, but had no luck with that.

can someone help?
