I know I'm not going crazy! I've been using Word for 15 years and have
created numerous documents with headers and footers. I remember getting a box that allowed you to choose where in your header/footer you wanted to place different items (e.g. date left-justified, page number centered, time right-justified). Within the box you would place the different items. It was very simple and clean. I've just started a new job where we use Word 2002. I'm not sure what versions I was using before, but I *cannot* seem to get the alignment to work here. I find myself hitting the space or tab buttons to get my alignment to work!! And of course, being an avid Word user, that bothers me to no end. I've read in other posts that the text should move automatically to the next logical place when I hit tab, and it does, but everything else goes with it. Please help!!! |
