Word 2007, Office XT Professional.
When I go to modify one of the styles I created in the Style Galary there are four boxes at the bottom. The two square ones are "Add to Quick Style list" and "Automatically update". The two round ones are "Only in this document" and "New documents based on this template". First, must I click "New documents based on this template" to update the template? Second, when I do click "New documents based on this template" and return to this style "Only in this document" is marked. Is this type of round "box" set up to be clicked as you need it? |

Yes, the option is not saved with the style; you will have to choose it explicitly each time you want to transfer settings to the attached template. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP |
