Default Tracked Changes Don't Show Up

A cow orker has sent me a document that was prepared by a consulting firm. It
has some tracked changes in it, but they don't show on screen or on the
printed page.

I can view the changes in the reviewing pane, and when I use the arrows on
my reviewing toolbar, I can navigate from one changed passage to the next. In
the reviewing pane, the changes show the name of the person who made the
change, and the date stamp.

I have my options set for additions to show in color only, deletions to show
as red strikeout, and changed lines indicated in the left margin. My text
processor tried viewing the document on her computer, and the tracked changes
don't show up for her, either.

When I make changes to the document, my changes show up. It's only the cow
orker's changes that don't show.

Any guesses on why one reviewer's changes wouldn't show on screen or in
print, even though they are visible and are tracked in the reviewing pane?

We're running Office 2003 using XP Professional (SP-2). (But IT tells us
Vista is coming! Arghh!)

Thanks,

Fred

On the Reviewing toolbar click Show and under Reviewers verify "All
Reviewers" is selected.

Hmmm . . . On that document, I can't select Reviewers. On all my other
documents I can.

I think there's something screwy in that document. I'm going to save it as
a text file to remove all formatting and then paste the text into a new
template.

Thanks,

Fred

That *is* odd.

If you want to email it to me I'll take a look at it. I'm also curious to
know why it's disabled. All I need is a sample of the issue so if it
contains sensitive content you should be able to remove it and still be able
to reproduce the issue.

To obtain a valid email address remove NoSpam4Me from:
