I have word 2000, and when I am typing a document such as a recipe, then
program automatically figures that I want my numbers to go chronologically. Let me explain: when you type a simple recipe such as: 1 cup of flour (you will normally hit the return key here to drop to the next line) 2 (when I do that the next number in the sequence appears at the left, in this case it is a # 2 ) I then have to backspace to remove the 2 and go on typing my line. When I reach the end of my second line and hit the return key again to drop to line 3 3 (the next number in the sequence is automatically placed on the left like it is here) I then have to backspace again to remove that and continue typing my line. This works with the letters also A,B,C and so on---- How do I get this to stop? It really slows me down ! -- niteravyn |
