Have a new computer with XP on it. Same as last one. Installed the printer
program, the test page prints, USB cable works fine, and all seems well. Now the problem: 1. I can print from Lotus Notes but cannot print from any other document program (Word, Excel, Adobe, etc.) even though the same printer is being used and listed as default printer. Not sure why that is? 2. Current Printer Properties are set like befo "Spool print docs, start printing immediately." If I change to "Print directly to printer" everything will print. But that is not an option since it slows the computer operation down until the page is printed, etc. 3. You can see in the printer pop-up window that it is trying to print from these other programs but shows "deleting" in the "Status" block. The same doc will be below it as well in a pending status. When you cancel that doc, the first doc shows a status of "sent to printer" and then nothing. Anyone know why this is happening? Thanks. |

Have you tried upgrading or reinstalling the printer driver?
