Hi,
Recently my windows went on an auto update and restarted while my microsoft words was still on and working. After it restarted, my microsoft words fails to work properly now. I am not able to use my mouse to select/highlight the words in the document, scroll using my mouse, select the spot that i want. I am not able to exit or close the application properly too. I had uninstalled and reinstalled the whole office but it could not solve the problem. It would be great if anyone here is able to advise me. Thank you! |

The problem might be a corrupted Data key.
See "How to troubleshoot problems that occur when you start or use Word 2007 Word 2003, or Word 2002" http://support.microsoft.com/kb/921541?FR=1 -- Hope this helps. Hi!
Thanks for your help. But I couldn't locate Word 2007: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft Office\12.0\Word\Data as stated at the site. I've tired using the finder but it couldn't locate it. is there any way that i can search this data? thanks! "Doug Robbins - Word MVP" wrote: The problem might be a corrupted Data key.
