If I have just finished typing a sentence and I realised that I forgot to add
a word in the middle of this sentence, when I try to add an extra word, the next word till automatically be deleted depening on how many letters I have used for the previous word. how can I stop this.? |

You need to toggle out of Overstrike mode. Ordinarily, you do this by
tapping the Insert key. Look at the status bar at the bottom of the Word window. There should be an indicator.
