Ok, I've just change from office 2003 to 2007. In word 2003 there was an
important option for me, to see the background of the page in blue and the
text in white, this option was for taking cere of the eyes. In word 2003 it
is located en the menu [tools]--[options] in the tab [general].
My question is, where is it in the new version??!!!!

2007.

I just tested with my 2007.

The page background can be any colour (Page layout, page colour.)

The text can be any colour (including white). (Home, font colour)

You have to use two commands rather than one but it would be worth it for
the eyes.

Although your suggestion works for viewing on screen you omit one additional
shortcoming:-) If you choose a light font color (such as white) you are in
fact doing just that, so that's how it will print... although white text on
white paper is about as easy on the eyes as it gets, I guess;-)

It certainly doesn't appeal to me, I complain bitterly about the modern
fashion of light coloured prints on darker backgrounds in magazines. But I
was addressing the question :-)

If you set the colour to the the blue that the old feature used
(RGB(0,0,128)) and leave the font colour as automatic it will appear white
on screen (actually it will appear as your Windows Window colour - which
most people have as default white).
