About five minutes ago I was working happily with a table in MS Word
2007. By happily, I mean that if I put the cursor just to the left of a row in the table (where it turned into a slanting arrow) and clicked, I was able to highlight the row, and (for example) apply shading etc. Then I decided to move the table and put a legend at the top, to explain what the various shadings mean. Now, when I put my cursor to the side, get the arrow shape, and click, the third line of the legend is highlighted. The only way to highlight a row seems to be to put the focus at the start of the row (I-beam), and press SHIFT+End to move to the end of the row. What have I done to change the behaviour? I've tried copying and pasting the table to a new document without the legend, but the behaviour persists. Thoughts, please? Thanks Edward |

If you moved the table by dragging it, you have made it wrapped. On the
Table tab of Table | Properties, select None for text wrapping. -- Suzanne S. Barnhill Microsoft MVP (Word) Words into Type Fairhope, Alabama USA wrote in message ...
