Why did "delete" key discontinue to delete a selected word, line .
Sudenly my "delete" key has discontinued to delete a selected (highlighted)
word, line or block of text. Instead, a "Delete block? No (Yes) prompt comes up in the left botton corner of the screen (in the status bar). When I depress the "Y" key on the keyboard the selection deletes (vanishes). So what happened to start this problem when in the past the "delete" key worked just fine in deleting selected portions of text without the prompt? |

Go to Tools Options ... you've accidentally switched on one of the
