IncludePicture in Automated MailMerge
I have an application to automate MailMerge and everything seems to work
except the IncludePicture field used to display a logo stored in a data source. When I open my document in Word, select the data source, and hit Ctrl-A, F9, the logo is displayed just fine. But when I run my application to send the merged document via eMail, the logo is not displayed. I have tried calling the Fields.Update() method after I open the document and the data source and before calling Execute() but it doesn't seem help. Is there any way to run a macro during or after the merge of each document to update the logo field? Thanks, Tom |

Where is the logo located. If in the header of the document, you will need
to specifically update the fields in the range of that header. -- Hope this helps. Please reply to the newsgroup unless you wish to avail yourself of my services on a paid consulting basis. IncludePicture in Automated MailMerge
Doug,
The logo is in the body of the letter. I had problems putting images in the header so I moved them to the body. I added a MailMergeAfterRecordMerge event handler and call Fields.Update() method in it. This seemed to solve the problem. Thanks, Tom "Doug Robbins - Word MVP" wrote in message ...
